The book contains the latest data on the effective feeding techniques of cows during different stages of their growth cycle. The modern approaches to the feeding dosage and its optimization with different kinds of rations arc represented. The dosage and ways of effective feeding with concentrates of milking cows are substantiated.
Some sections are devoted to the problems of health saving and development of long-lasting use of high producing animals. The role of alimentary factors in these processes is reflected.
The book includes information concerning the nonmedicinal preventive treatment of some metabolism violations, such as acidosis, kctosis, labor paresis, tetany by wrong feeding.
Expounded materials take into consideration the recent cconomical state of stock breeding and appeared ways of its reforming. The principles of animal feeding are reflected with considerations of productivity level and organization kinds of technology process, depending of property forms.
